There is a list of empires inside of the article Empire. Unlike in the article List of empires, this list is very uninformative: In the same list and without any comment are, for example, Eurosphere, Central African Empire and Belgian colonial empire.
I would remove the list from the article Empire, but I am not so sure about that. Maybe someone has some better idea?

Just so you know, the “Empire” and “List of empires” article have been marred for a while by a bitter edit war which has been (or still is?) the subject of an arbitration case.
Thank you for notice. I removed the list from the article Empire. There is no sense to wait for end of edit war.
